Having already launched a full collection of divine luxury lipsticks, Tom Ford has exceeded himself with a full beauty collection; including everything from a cleansing routine to foundations and powders to eyeshadows… and it’s all gorgeous!

We were lucky enough to head to the Terrace Suite at the Dorchester Hotel and sample what the collection had in store for us.

The collection comes is gorgeous brown lacquered compacts and stylised bottles, all with gold trimmings, and the famous logo of course.

We started with the cleansing collection that included cleansers, moisturisers, concentrated serums, an eye treatment and a makeup remover.

There’s also a primer with SPF12 which is set to be a big hit too.

We then moved on to the complexion range which consisted of the great, über fluid liquid Foundation which was looked heavenly when we tried it; really sheer with good coverage and a slightly dewy finish. Plus, for those of us that like it a bit heavier, there’s a Foundation Stick too, with or without SPF 8, and an Illuminating Highlight Pen for any imperfections.

A personal favourite came next in the powder line up with the Shade and Illuminate compact which contains two gorgeous shading/highlighting creams which would be incredible sculpting the face. The creams are really emollient so glide on the skin and would be great for any skin tone as there are two intensities to choose from.

Another favourite was the amazing Brow Sculptor which comes in a pencil. Of course, true to Tom Ford’s style, it’s no normal brow pencil as it comes with a brush and innovative sharpener within the pencil’s case. The sharpener is amazing and acts as more of a shaver, keeping the perfect calligraphy-penned edge of the pencil super sharp. We LOVE!

Finally we came to the eye palettes which were all heavenly. They all contain a different combination of the four main shadow textures; sheer sparkle, satin, shimmer and matte (keep an out our for the satin textures, they are divine). Each palette looks and feels amazing to use and Mr Ford has really taken note of workable palette combinations for either a natural, beautiful look or a deeper, sensual evening creation.

This nude v.s. dramatic look has already been reflected with his Lipstick Collection however has also been continued through the creation of his two new fragrances; Santal Blush and Jasmin Rouge. Both scents are heavenly for day or night and reflect the collection very well. It would definitely be worth heading down to a stockists and trying the two out.
