Tuesday’s Top Illuminators

With the dismal weather setting in and our over-worked complexions resembling nothing of our youthful glow over the summer holidays, we’ve been on the hunt for illuminating products that can fake that iridescent skin tone we all yearn over in the colder months.
Illuminators are the perfect thing to give your skin that added boost, making you look healthier and perkier… even if you’re sleep deprived and sodden through from the rain!
Check out our favourite illuminators below:
MAC Strobe Liquid
This super light fluid should be in every beauty lover’s makeup bag and is a great alternative to the original and heavier Strobe cream. The iridescent pigments within this pearly liquid glide on your skin and absorb quickly, leaving it super soft and naturally radiant. It’s really subtle but very effective and great under a light dusting of bronzer to boost that healthy glow.

Clarins Colour Definition 3D Radiance Face Powder
We mentioned this palette a while back but we do genuinely love it. The palette itself looks gorgeous and the soft pink/peach toned powder is perfect for adding a fresh look to your cheeks, or highlights to you brow bone.

Benefit Moonbeam
This creamy highlighter is perfect for the evening as the golden pigments give a gorgeous ethereal glow under darker lighting situations. Dab it on and blend it in under or over your foundation and before you on to add powder. It’s particularly good on cheek and brow bones, as well great on your collar bones if you’re going low cut.

It may not look like summer but this Summer 2011 Illuminator is fab.
