Get Scarlett Johansson's Look for Louis Vuitton

That’s probably a yes!

Scarlett Johansson is one hot looking girl and most of us wouldn’t mind just having those looks for a day, imagine the fun you could have…those lips that body, oh the power!

Sadly we can’t perform miracles but we can give you the hair and make-up artist insider secrets on how to recreate the sultry siren’s look for those ads in the current Louis Vuitton campaign.

The Hair
For sexy loose curls you will need some heated rollers or a pair of curling tongs, ideally some with a medium barrel. Start by dividing hair into sections and winding hair around the tongs quite randomly for a modern take on that 50’s style, curl hair using a medium and small barrelled heated tong. While hair is still warm pin the curls to head to allow to cool, this will make the curl last longer, you can also spray a fine mist of Elnett over them for a stronger hold.

The Make-Up
Make sure your skin is well moisturised so that make-up sits well on the face, you might want to use one of the excellent primers on the market right now to prep the skin and provide a smooth and easy surface to apply foundation. I like the Laura Mercier Foundation Primer, it’s a favourite amongst make-up artists, the cutting-edge formula prepares the skin for a flawless application and primes skin to achieve a smoother, more even application of base.

You will need a foundation with a slight shimmer to give the skin a fresh and radiant glow, Chanel Teint Innocence Naturally Luminous Fluid Foundation is perfect for this. Then using a large powder brush dipped in some translucent loose powder, sweep over chin, nose and cheek area to remove any excessive ‘shine’. You want to glow, not look like you’ve run for the bus.

Eyebrows have been left pale and natural looking, so if you already have good brows keep them in shape by using a little bit of hair spray sprayed on to an old tooth brush and lightly brush through. If you need to enhance you brows, go for a mid to light brown and use light strokes to keep them looking natural – not Susan Boyle ladies!

The eye make-up again is minimal, a pale eyeshadow with a hint of shimmer has been blended all over the eye lids, I like Clinique Quick Eyes in Sparkling Nude or Starlight Pin. Choose a good black mascara to really emphasis those lashes, but don’t overload the lash, I like the Prescriptives one right now, it has a good brush and doesn’t clog.

Blusher has also been used sparingly, with just a touch of colour added to the cheeks for a natural glow, a cream blush with shimmer is be ideal, Nars Orgasm in stick or powder form is an excellent shade, and suits almost anyone.

The main focus of this look is the lips which have a red stain. Choose from a variety of reds to suit your colouring, but in this case a classic pillar box red has been used, forget your lip liner , this look is all about simplicity and looking fresh and natural. You can blot with a tissue and smudge the colour a bit with your finger to tone it down a bit if full on red scares you a bit. Good reds to try are Bourjois Fashion Rouge 32, 14  and Chanel Passion.

To finish off unpin your hair and run your fingers through the curls to mess the look up a bit and you are ready for your close up and hope that Ryan Reynolds is picking you up at 8 for dinner!
