Global Lust by Chrissy Iley

On the whole I am suspicious about creams or serums that are dual purpose. How can something moisturise, SPF and tint all at the same time and do it well? They can be better than nothing but I’m yet to find a BB cream that is perfect.

Just like a shampoo and conditioner all in one never works because it’s a product that’s basically working at odds with itself: Stripping grease and providing moisture, of course it’s not going to work well.

While the fashion for all in one hair products fades the mode for multi-tasking face products increases. My favourite of these don’t even bill themselves as multitaskers.

Wild About Beauty Golden Skin Glow

Wild About Beauty with all its botanical goodness does a tube of something they call Golden Skin Glow. It’s a tinted bronzing gel with Vitamin E, which I rediscovered when I had a tidy up and lost all the blushers. I’m using it as an all-purpose blusher and bronzer. It blends into the skin amazingly with a lovely dewy glow. It’s also extremely moisturising.

As it became my go to product, I tried their Botanical Skin Prep Serum. It’s billed as a rejuvenating serum with anti-ageing green caviar extract and sesame seed oil.

As you put it on you feel your face tingle and tighten. It doesn’t say it’s a skin tightener but it is. It also acts as a fantastic make-up bass. I love the idea of hard working products that are unexpected multitaskers.

The Golden Skin Glow comes in a lightweight tube with pumping action, which is also very efficient at delivering just the right amount.
