London’s best-loved open-air cinema, Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House, is back from 8th-21st August.
For 14 nights, a different film will be shown on the giant screen in the magnificent 18th century courtyard, with full surround sound, under the stars. This year’s line up features comedy, romance, musicals and thrillers, as well as much loved classics, all enjoyed with Bordeaux wine by the glass or bottle.
With early evening DJ sessions, providing the ideal soundtrack to your picnic and warm up for the film, Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House is the ultimate cinema experience and the highlight of the summer calendar.
Beauty and the Dirt has teamed up with the official wine sponsor of this year’s event, Bordeaux Wines, to offer a pair of tickets to the sold out triple-bill screening of Mean Girls, Carrie and The Loved Ones on Saturday 10th August 2013.
Our lucky winner and their guest will be able to enjoy this late-night triple-bill of high-school comedy and horror that gets darker the longer it lasts. Lindsay Lohan turns the tables on the ‘popular’ girls in the Tina Fey-scripted Mean Girls, while it’s Stephen King who’s setting the stage for Sissy Spacek’s ultimate revenge in Carrie. Nothing can prepare you for where this all ends though, with an invitation to Australian prom-horror The Loved Ones that you’d be foolish to refuse.
Bordeaux has famously produced red, white and rosé wines for centuries. As well as the bar selling a selection of Bordeaux Wines throughout the event, the Bordeaux Usherettes will be back sampling wines among the crowd of film fans.
To be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets for the performance, all you need to do is answer the following question: [competition_678]
