Rihanna has splashed out £100,000 on a Swarovski crystal portrait of Marilyn Monroe!

The ‘We Found Love’ hitmaker commissioned British artist Claire Milner to create the huge picture of the tragic Hollywood icon using 65,000 Swarovski crystals and then spent thousands of pounds to have it shipped to her home in Beverly Hills.

Claire told The Sun newspaper: “I tried to show the glitter of the public life and the sadness in Marilyn’s eyes. Because of who Rihanna is everything had to be done through her interior decorators. But they told me afterwards that she loved it.

“A 100 per cent Swarovski crystal portrait is very luxurious – people stand and stare because it constantly changes colour, sending rainbows round the room.”

Rihanna is a huge fan of the ‘Seven Year Itch‘ star, previously revealing she and close pal Katy Perry once both chose the same Dolce and Gabbana dress inspired by Marilyn to wear to the Metropolitan Institute Costume Gala.

She said: “One time we were going to the Met Ball, and Katy phoned me to check. We were like, ‘Oh My God’, we were both going in this dress by Dolce and Gabbana with Marilyn Monroe’s face all over it.

“She was like, ‘You can’t. I’ve had my nails done in mink and it matches the dress. I thought, seeing as she’d gone to all that effort, I’d let her wear it.”

Partying with Gresham

This week I had to miss a party with one of my heroes, Ray Winstone and guess what happened in my absence?

Ray Winstone was co-hosting at the London opening of the dapper menswear boutique Gresham this week. Guests at the party included Steve Coogan, Luke Evans and Jaime Winstone, they enjoyed hot tea cocktail toddies by Henrietta Lovell and my spy told me all the goss. Straight down to business; Ray dropped his trousers and ordered Gresham to do the same, he was a total gent and was a brilliant co-host.

He chatted to everyone who wanted to speak to him and caught up with (lovely) Luke Evans, who has played Ray’s son in a film. Luke has another couple of weeks to go before returning to New Zealand to film The Hobbit.

Steve Coogan said that it was his first outing in London after the Levinson Enquiry. His hair is long and curly as he’s playing Paul Raymond, owner of the Raymond Revue in a film.

Jaime Winstone stopped by and discussed getting a tweed shooting jacket from Gresham and caught up with her friend, interior designer Joanna Berryman.

Sarah Shotton, the creative director of Agent Provocateur was surprised to run into her old flame, award winning hairdresser, Mark Woolley.

Krishnan Guru Murphy whizzed straight over after reading the Channel 4 News, looked as though he hadn’t paused to take his make-up off.

Smoothie Tim Wade – who’s just about to play Marvin Gaye in an Idris Elba produced film was given stellar industry advice by Ray. Sounds like a brilliant night, I’m hoping for a re-match sometime soon!

Demi Moore has been rushed to hospital to seek professional help for “exhaustion“… and it’s no surprise, just look how thin she is now!

The 49-year-old actress – who filed for divorce from Ashton Kutcher, her husband of six years, in November, after he was accused of cheating on her – is now working toward improving her “overall health“.

Her representative said in a statement: “Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health.

“She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.”

Paramedics were called to the Los Angeles home of the star on Monday (23.01.12) night and after a 30-minute assessment, Demi was rushed to a local hospital, TMZ.com reports.

Matt Spence, spokesperson for the Los Angeles City Fire Department, said: “I can confirm that we received an emergency call at 10:49 p.m. for an unknown illness related to that address.

“We transported at least one patient to a local hospital. The patient was transported at 11:21 p.m.”

However, sources have told E! News the mother-of-three was “shaking” and “acting like she was suffering from a seizure“.

In light of the incident, Demi’s representative also confirmed she has dropped out of the upcoming Linda Lovelace biopic, in which she had been cast as feminist icon Gloria Steinem.

Demi recently admitted in the wake of her relationship with Ashton coming to an end, she has become scared she is “not worthy of being loved”.

She said: “What scares me is that I’m going to ultimately find out at the end of my life that I’m really not lovable, that I’m not worthy of being loved.

“That there’s something fundamentally wrong with me and that I wasn’t wanted here in the first place.”

Kick Ass star Aaron Johnson has become a father for the second time.

His fiancee Sam Taylor-Wood gave birth to a baby girl earlier this month, joining their 18-month-old daughter Wylda Rae, although a name for the newborn is not yet known.

Aaron, 21, and his director partner, 44, met on the set of John Lennon biopic ‘Nowhere Boy‘ in 2009 and became engaged the same year.

It is a fourth daughter for Sam, as she already has Anjelica, 14 and Jessie, five from her marriage to art dealer Jay Jopling – who was once romantically linked with Lily Allen.

Aaron has previously defended the couple against critics who say the 23-year age gap between them is too big.

He said: “I’m in love, I’m blissfully content. No one’s getting hurt. We’re in a loving relationship. We’re engaged. Everyone who matters is happy. Exactly which bit of that do I have to defend or apologise for?”

Speaking before the birth of Wylda, the actor revealed how he had always wanted to settle down and have a family.

He said: “I’ve always been really up for a baby, I knew very early on – we were very much in love, and it was something that I wanted… It came from me, but maybe it took her to want me to want one. I wanted to be grounded, to surround our kids with love. I love the two girls [Sam's daughters], I love them to bits, I want the family, and I think that’s what she’s always wanted.”

The ten-day festival, which began Thursday and lasts until 29th January, is the largest independent film festival in the United States as well as a hub for famed actors, directors and musicians.

Celebrities traded in their scarves and mittens for red carpet attire, including stars Kirsten Dunst, Emily Blunt and hubby John Krasinski, Joshua Jackson, Will Ferrell and Elizabeth Olsen, who strutted her stuff twice, for both the movie premiere of Liberal Arts and her upcoming paranormal film, Red Lights.

Heidi Klum and Seal have now actually confirmed they have separated.

The couple – who raise four children, Leni, seven, Henry, six, Johan, five, and two-year-old Lou, together – admitted while they “continue to love each other very much“, they have “grown apart“.

They said in a statement: “While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate.

“We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart.”

They added: “This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition.

“We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children’s sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy.”

One of our favourite Hollywood couples, Heidi Klum and her husband Seal, is set for divorce according to TMZ.com…

The model – who married the singer at his beachfront home in Mexico in 2005 – is set to file for divorce at Los Angeles County Superior Court this week, according to gossip website TMZ and Seal appeared to confirm reports when he posted a cryptic tweet saying “The End” on his twitter account.

While he refused to elaborate, a spokesperson for Heidi said a statement is being prepared and will be released imminently.

However, it has also been claimed that although the union of the couple – who have four children together, sons Henry and Johan and daughters Lou  and Leni – is in trouble they are “still together – for now“.

A source told US Weekly: “Nothing is for sure. Seal has flown back from the UK and he and Heidi are in the house together now.

“They’ve had a very rough road lately. They’re either madly in love or having crazy fights.”

The source added their recent trip to the exclusive ski resort of Aspen was full of tension, saying “It was a very hard trip.”

The news of the split comes as a surprise as the ‘Project Runway’ star and the ‘Kiss From A Rose’ singer have renewed their vows on their anniversary every year in lavish ceremonies surrounded by friends and family.

Looks like bonding over Halloween outfits didn’t pay off…

Lady Gaga for Viva Glam

Lady Gaga will launch her Born This Way foundation next month.

The singer is starting the charity – named after her 2011 album and the title of its lead single – to “promote youth empowerment and equality” and will kick it off with an event at Harvard University.

Gaga’s mother, Cynthia Germanotta, will help her run the Born This Way charity, which says its aims are to “explore the best ways to reach youth and create a new culture of kindness, bravery, acceptance and empowerment.”

Cynthia said: “My daughter’s foundation was born out of her passion to create a better world where people are kinder and nicer to one another and are accepted for who they are, regardless of how different they may be.

“She has experienced many of the struggles that our youth encounter today, and identifies with the lasting effects they can have without proper support.”

Gaga has campaigned against bullying, even meeting with US President Barack Obama about it, and she also created a lipstick for MAC cosmetics, with all proceeds going to the MAC Aids fund.

The Born This Way Foundation has already received 25 per cent of all profits made from Gaga’s Workshop, a Santa’s Workshop-style section of department store Barney’s New York opened by the star over the festive season.

Madonna has been branded “embarrassing” and “desperate” by David Furnish.

The film director was angry his husband Sir Elton John did not pick up Best Original Song at last night’s (15.01.12) Golden Globes – losing out to Madonna for her song ‘Masterpiece’ from ‘W.E.’ – for his efforts on animated movie ‘Gnomeo and Juliet’, and criticised her on social networking site Facebook.

He wrote: “Madonna. Best song???? F**k off!!!

“Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in it’s narcissism. And her critisism ofGaga shows how desperate she really is.(sic)”

Earlier in the evening Elton had blasted Madonna’s efforts, saying he did not believe she could win.

He said: “Mary J [Blige] might win it for ‘The Help’. Madonna doesn’t have a f**king chance.”

However, Madonna retorted she was ready to fight him to take home the award.

She told Carson Daly: “Was he wearing a dress? Damn him, those are fighting words. OK, well may the best man win.”

Accepting her prize on stage at the awards, she said: “This is a surprise. Thank you.”
