Lanvin Summer 2012 Campaign

Snakes, sunnies, and sex appeal reign supreme in Lanvin’s Summer 2012 campaign.

Captured by photographer Steven Meisel, the latest video from the French fashion house features an exotic dinner party where models wearing flowing gowns and tailored suits, layer themselves with snakes.

The ad comes from the creative direction of House and Holme and features up and coming it-girls Aymeline Valade and Marte Mei van Haaster, as well as models Aaron Vernon and Angus Lowe.

The somewhat sinister video is set to the edgy pop sounds of Maxine Ashley’s new single “Cookieman”, which is written and produced by hip hop mogul Pharell Williams. The track is the first single off of Ashley’s upcoming debut album.

Jimmy and Justin perform the History Of Rap 2

This is the best video we’ve seen all week… and we see a LOT of videos.

Jimmy Fallon recently had Justin Timberlake on his show and, having already done a joint performance of their own History Of Rap (where they covered their favourite rap songs), they thought they would do a ‘small’ sequel. And we say say ‘small’, we’re lying. The duo performed around 19 tracks in about 6 minutes in their newest additition: History Of Rap 2.

Watch the video below and try not to fancy Jimmy Fallon too much. Any man that can do that in a suit gets our vote.

Stella McCartney

To celebrate the launch of her new fragrance, L.I.L.Y, Stella McCartney will make an exclusive appearance at Selfridges Oxford Street TONIGHT (8th February)!

The first 100 people to purchase a 50 ml (£60) or 75 ml (£76) bottle of the fragrance tomorrow will get to meet Stella and have their parfum bottle signed by the designer between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Stella said L.I.L.Y stands for “Linda, I Love You” and was her father’s nickname for her mother. The earthy yet seductive fragrance incorporates the smells of spring, including lily of the valley, moss and truffles.

The Amazing Spider-Man movie poster

The trailer for the Marc Webb-directed Spider Man film was released today, prompting some disgruntled fans to say “too soon!”

The Amazing Spider-Man, in which Andrew Garfield replaces Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker, follows the classic story of Spider Man, but gives viewers new insight into the reason his parents abandoned him as a child. Spider Man is led to his father’s former partner, Dr. Curt Connors, whose alter ego, The Lizard, means trouble for Spider Man.

Emma Stone plays a blonde Gwen Stacey, seen smooching Garfield in the 2-minute trailer.

The film also stars Sally Field, Denis Leary and Martin Sheen. It is set to hit cinemas 3 July.

Footloose

It’s time to Cut Loose! Clinique has, for the fifth year running, teamed up with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity for the KISS IT BETTER appeal with their Limited Edition Kissable Lip Set.

The Bratwurst

A little bit of Germany has just opened in Soho, in the form of The Bratwurst, on Berwick Street.

The Bratwurst will offer a traditional sausage-based menu, importing theirs from an award-winning butcher in Thuringia, Germany, which is the traditional home of the Bratwurst Sausage. The award winning sausages, which are made from 86% pork and bacon, with a hint of cumin, are served in a freshly baked roll and finished off with a tangy German mustard – the perfect winter warmer!

The Bratwurst will operate Monday to Wednesday, 11am-9pm, Thursday to Friday, 11am-10pm and Saturday, 11am-7pm.

Kate Moss with Lila Grace at her wedding

Kate Moss is teaming up with her nine-year-old daughter to create a girls’ clothing range.

The supermodel and little Lila Grace are working with British high street store Debenhams on a range of “funky tweenage” designs, due for release in summer 2012.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Lila has always loved trying on Kate’s clothes and make-up, and is already really into fashion.

“It was mainly all her idea and Kate obviously agreed to help out as much as possible, using her contacts to land the duo a deal.

“Lila is adamant the range will be very traditional and English rose-esque in feel. Lila doesn’t want to produce chavvy clothes.

“The collaboration was actually inspired by Kate’s mates, Jemima French and Sadie Frost’s new FrostFrench ‘Iris and Edie‘ capsule range of sleepwear after their daughters got involved.

“Kate and Lila Grace will get cracking on designs over the festive period, mulling over ideas at Kate’s Cotswolds’ pad.”
