To celebrate the launch of our shiny new Beautyandthedirt.com website, we’ve got a box of beauty goodies to give away to one lucky winner!
What's up for grabs....
We’ve been working on our new site for a long time now and it’s been made purely for your viewing pleasure! We’ve narrowed the categories to make them more comprehensive and informative, installed a wicked cool archive system (have a play, you never know what you’ll find) and two fab new video portals in BATD TV and Fun Clips to entertain you even more. Oh and Mimi has left us for award season in L.A. so it’s just the team here at BATD HQ now – more on Mimi’s departure to follow. Look out for Jon Hamm on the red carpet, she won’t be far behind..
So, in ode to Mimi’s flight and our brand new design we’ve got a competition to win this fab box of beauty booty including the new Rimmel foundation that we love (see us talk about it here), some Arden 8-Hour-Cream, on trend nail polish and other amazing goodies too…
All you have to do is have a browse of the site and tell us your favourite bit and why you like it comments section below along with your TWITTER name so we can contact you. It could be an article (old or new), a category, a video or even the colour scheme.

i like the website it seems very vintage and classy ,with all sorts so you couldnt get bord,gossip to travel to food and beauty nd more its a cupp tea relaxing kinda page where u can sit back and just browse and read , i myself dont like reading books i never really have the time with children but this page i would find time to sit back and have me time , and plus competitions everyone loves them

I really like the beauty section. Im always looking out to try out new things which will help to brighten up my look. i like to keep up with whats going on in the world of beauty and i have a tendency to try out and buy lots and lots of perfumes. Therefore this section is perfect for example a current article of yours describing Stella McCartneys new perfume.

Travel is always my first click. Loved the review of the Waldorf. I always fancy staying in a very grand hotel, but after joining the gym at our local grand one, found that it was disappointing inside, dated and smelt of old unwashed grill pans hahaha!

Gaga opens up about bulimic past, i love this, it isn’t gossip it’s real life. She’s one of the celebs who actually talks about it and doesnt make it a stunt. Brilliantly written and navigated It shows celebs are people too, and that a lot of people go through this disorders, and a lot of people come out on the other side happier & better than ever before. That isn’t down to luck either, it’s down to hard work and a lot of strength.

I like how easy the website is to use.
I love the beauty section, but that article on the new excersice fad TRX suspension training nearly bought on a fit of the vapours. Now I know I’m not the fittest person but anything that starts off with me being sort of tied up and ends up with me being red faced and sweaty, well I’m not going to do it in public. Total respect to you guys for having a go though.

Loved the estee lauder feature for MadMen- made we want to rush out and buy a vintage frock and get made-up for when I next sit down to watch the series. i like the website it seems very vintage and classy ,with all sorts so you couldnt get bord,gossip to travel to food and beauty nd more its a cupp tea relaxing kinda page where u can sit back and just browse and read. I love the fashion tips and all kind of fashion stuff.
