iPod Touch Competition

To encourage more people to take up the 21-day Sat Fat Challenge, is partnering with the Food Standards Agency (FSA),  in giving away an iPod Touch to enable you to start reducing your saturated fat intake with their new Sat Fat Challenge iPhone and iPod Touch application.

The application allows you to make informed dietary choices by setting challenges each day that encourage you to make small changes to the food and drink you consume – for example, by choosing pizzas with lower fat toppings (‘Pizza topping tactics’) and skimming the fat off a stew to make a healthier meal (‘Skim to be trim’).

All the challenges are designed to help lower saturated fat intake – and by using the phone app you can encourage your friends to join in whilst keeping other participants updated with your progress via Twitter.

To use the app, you either need an iPhone, an iPod Touch, or a web-enabled phone, and you need to be signed up to Twitter. iPhone and iPod Touch users can download the 21-day Sat Fat Challenge app from Apple’s App Store – just search on ‘sat fat’ to find it. For web- enabled phones, follow the link at
