We think this year has been the year of the Pop-up Shop  and the cupcake. Did you pop into any of these? New York took up residence in the city with Central Perk invading Broadwick St, drawing in the crowds in their hoards.  While we got our fashion fix courtesy of Barnardo’s and hung out at the uber cool Double Club and Quintessentially St Barnabas Bar.

Central Perk arrived in Soho on Broadwick Street, 24 September-7 October. Bring with it Gunter, a host of the show’s memorabilia and that couch. We didn’t make it in, as there was no sign of Rachel and Ross but that didn’t stop the constant queues of fans around the block.

(RED) opened up their charitable doors for World Aids Day on December 1st until the 17th. Selling all (RED) brands it was you chance to pick up the latest from Apple, Bugaboo, Converse, Dell, Emporio Armani, Gap and Starbucks all under one roof.

The Double Club opened for a few short months and drew in the crowds with its funky mix of contemporary music, lifestyle, arts and design. Containing a restaurant, bar and club and 50% of the profits being donated to City of Joy/UNICEF.

Always happy to do the charitable thing (did you see that last date I went on?!), we did pop into the Barnardo’s pop up on Broadwick Street where they had some exclusive celeb vintage pieces . The 80’s glitz and glam theme meant plenty of sequins and shoulder pads, it attracted a host of celebrity visitors.
