Wish You Were Here

Wish You Were Here

Bringing a slice of Stateside style to the UK the “Wish You Were Here” pop-up shops brought a selection of edgy New York designers to the Newburgh Quarter. Bringing with it Yellow Cabs and street parties, October was one fun filled month.

For one month this June Temperley London ‘popped up’ in at the Sanderson recreating her Notting Hill store in the comfort of the plush hotel, guests perused a selection of her S/S collection just in time for the holiday season.

Embrace your inner geek chic with the Baracuta outerwear pop up in Covent Garden, the Brit heritage line offers up its sports and outerwear, opened in November for just three months you can still pay them a visit now.

Nothing says English country garden quite like Cath Kidston’s signature floral prints. Open from now until January are her Christmas pop up shops in Spitalfields & Chelsea. You can pick up a selection of mugs, bags and home wear. Claudia Winkleman told me she is a fan.

Cashing in on the festive fun, aside from their stand alone store, Louis Vuitton launched a pop-up shop in the Selfridges Wonder Room. Up until January 2010, it features sweetie bracelets, phone toggles and more with prices starting at just £25.

It was a case of blink and you missed it with the Red or Dead pop up on Broadwick Street only lasting a few short days from November 26th-29th – did you pop in?
