Hollywood veteran Julianne Moore is teaming up with talented newcomer Amanda Seyfried in the upcoming flick Chloe.
In the film, Moore plays the wife of Liam Neeson, who thinks her husband is having an affair. After hiring Seyfried, a call girl, to spy on her husband, she must live with the consequences of her actions. The ladies, who both must come to terms with their desire for one another on screen, are both getting recognition for their performances.
Moore has been gracing silver screens since her film debut in the early 1990s. Owning iconic roles such as Cathy Whitaker in Far From Heaven to Amber Waves in Boogie Nights, she has won countless awards and inspired us all with her acting prowess.
Currently, Ms Moore can be seen opposite Colin Firth in A Single Man, a film which has gained critical acclaim. She is also in the upcoming movie Shelter with Jonathan Rhys Meyers, as well as several films still in production.
With a shorter but no less impressive resume is young Amanda Seyfried. The role of Chloe has allowed her to step out of her “good girl” image and into something more adult. Considering she moved from her breakout role in Mean Girls to films like Mama Mia and Jennifer’s Body, it isn’t a surprise she was looking for something a little more risqué. While she isn’t home wrecking in Chloe, Seyfried can be seen in the new movie Dear John with the my new crush Channing Tatum, due out here in May.
Though they have very different backgrounds, it is without question that both of these actresses are captivating us on the big screen and we can’t wait to see what they both take on next.
Chloe is released in the UK on Friday 5th March
