Michael Krivicka, a 34-year-old viral video maker and partner of the ad agency Thinkmodo, has turned the tables and is trying to get celebs to follow him rather than the other way around.

Having started about two weeks ago, Krivicka has successfully got Ellen Degeneres to follow him at @whoisthebaldguy, after posting a series of short, flashy videos to her. He has also send links to videos for Alyssa Milano, Ashton Kutcher and Jimmy Fallon.

“My timing is bad on Fallon,” he says. “He’s getting ready to host the Emmys and he’s not been tweeting much lately.”

Apparently he has dubbed it “a social media experiment. I’m trying to find a way to get a hold of people who are really hard to get a hold of.” He seems to grab their attention by sending them links that click through to his videos whereby he is filming in a two-minute ad, arguing why they should follow his twit feed.

This isn’t a venture without benefit though, Krivickahas actually bet his fiancée a dinner that he could at least get a late-night host to follow him!

Fingers crossed for him then, getting a meal out is definitely worth proving a point in our books!
