The KISS Christmas tree at Covent Garden

Covent Garden is really getting into the Christmas spirit this year.  They have erected an enormous Christmas tree that lights up every time a couple kisses under the mistletoe near it.

Using human touch, the kiss tree is activated each time a kiss occurs, triggering over 50,000 white and red lights to pulse through the tree—making this a bright, colourful way to publicise your romantic side over the festive season.

Check out the video from its launch night below.

If you haven’t got a man to kiss, don’t fret, Covent Garden will be hosting a Fancy a Kiss programme for singles to meet and mingle under the tree.

You know how that Christmas rhyme goes: Grab the first gorgeous man you see, and snog him under the tree.  Okay, we might have made that one up, but we still suggest you get headed over to Covent Garden…

The Kissmas tree will be operating until 5th January, to find out more click here.
