Eastenders - Peggy's Theme
Eastenders has been going strong since 1985 and our favourite mouthy pub landlady, Peggy Mitchell, is finally leaving the soap this month. However she won’t be leaving to the standard Eastenders theme tune. They couldn’t do that to her!
Instead, the show has got Simon May (creator of the original and iconic theme tune) to compose a tune, especially for her departure. The track, dubbed Peggy’s Theme, is set to air as the character leaves and can be bought on iTunes from 11th September 2010. The track comes on an EP that features 3 other top 20 hits from other stars of the soap… Hello bargain…
Seriously what more could you want… we’re gunning for Martine McCutcheon, Perfect Moment.
