After cancelling part of her Born This Way world tour in February to undergo hip surgery, Lady Gaga has stepped firmly back on the scene.
Hushed tones are not a part of the Gaga repertoire, which is why for her return to form Gaga is unapologetically nude, and obviously we’re obsessed. Gone are the horrific, skin-crawling meat suits, truly ridiculous fugly heels and extravagant outfits and in their place a truly authentic, real and utterly gorgeous Gaga.
For the V Magazine editorial, photoshop tools seem to have barely touched her creamy skin, and instead of unique yogic poses or show stopping theatrics, she sits subdued and smiling beneath a head of tumbling textured curls.
The overtly sexual side to Lady Gaga that provokes all manner of media responses has been replaced for some true to form natural beauty shots. And given that Gaga has been out of the spotlight for quite some time this was undoubtedly the type of comeback we weren’t expecting but were hoping for.
And having recently being named by Forbes as the the top earning celebrity (approximately £52 million per year) Gaga shows no signs of stopping announcing that her new album ARTPOP is set to be released 11 November.
