Getting a rather late start for an actor at age 20, 31 year-old actor/producer/model Ashton Kutcher has achieved much fame in 11 short years.  After a normal, yet somewhat difficult adolescence, the Iowa native decided to attend the University of Iowa and majored in biochemical engineering. He was driven by a deep desire to find a cure for his fraternal twin’s heart problems.

His college days lead him to intense partying, and this caused him to not ever obtain his degree. However, it could have lead him to a successful career as he was discovered at a bar and was told to enter the “Fresh Faces of Iowa” modeling contest. To his surprise (but not ours), Kutcher won a trip to New York City to the International Modeling and Talent Association Convention. Because of this trip (not to mention his chiseled good looks), Ashton was signed with Next modeling agency, appeared in Calvin Klein ads, and modeled in fashion shows in Paris and Milan. After this successful stint as a model, he decided to move to Los Angeles and pursue an acting career. After one audition, gorgeous Kutcher landed the role of Michael Kelso in the TV series That 70’s Show. While the show was still shooting in airing, Ashton starred in a few successful comedies including Dude, Where’s My Car?, Just Married, Guess Who, and the family film, Cheaper by the Dozen.

In 2004, Kutcher took on the surprisingly conflicting role of Evan in highly successful film, The Butterfly Effect. Kutcher went back to his funnyman roots to host MTV’s Punk’d and also produces reality shows Beauty and the Geek, Adventures in Hollyhood, The Real Wedding Crashers, Pop Fiction and Opportunity Knocks. In his love life, Kutcher has been linked to his fair share of actresses including January Jones, Ashley Scott, Monet Mazur, and Brittany Murphy. Ashton is now married to Demi Moore, which sent the press into an absolute frenzy because of their 16 year age difference. He has tons of side projects, including restaurants Dolce and Geisha House.

Kutcher is also an active follower of Kabbalah. In fact, it cost over $100,000 to edit out the red bracelet Kutcher refused to take off in Guess Who. One of the first Twitter celebs, he was the first person on the social site to have more than 1,000,000 followers and he announced through the site that he was donating $100,000 to fight malaria (aww!). We know we’re following his tweets!

Catch him next in the upcoming star studded Valentine’s Day.
