Cheap Trick

The 1970’s pop-rock band Cheap Trick is set to return to Vegas this summer at the Paris Las Vegas Theatre to perform in Sgt. Pepper Live, a celebration of the classic Beatles 1967 album “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.”

Backed by a 32-piece orchestra and an Indian sitar ensemble, Cheap Trick puts their own power-pop spin on the album’s influential songs like “With A Little Help From My Friends” and “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.”  The show also gives the audience the chance to hear the full album live, as it was never performed in its entirety by The Beatles.

In addition to Beatles favorites, audiences are sure to hear the 1977 Cheap Trick classic, “I Want You to Want Me,” as well as the band’s other mega-hits “Surrender” and “Dream Police.”

The critically acclaimed show, which returned to Vegas for its second run this month, has recently been extended to the end of September.  I feel a trip to Vegas coming on…
