Cheryl Cole is reportedly planning to move Stateside as soon as she sells the £6 million mansion in Surrey, South East England, she shared with her England soccer star ex-husband Ashley Cole.

As well as moving to the US to launch her career as a judge on Simon Cowell’s pop star search show ‘The X Factor’, it’s believed the brunette beauty wants to be closer to rumoured boyfriend Derek Hough.

However the Daily Mail has alerted us all once more, to Cheryl’s GBH (gross bodily harm) conviction in 2003. This conviction may well scupper her chances of getting a Green Card/Visa to move to the US, therefore seriously affecting her chances of launching her career over the pond.

U.S. law states that all convictions – indeed, all arrests – have to be disclosed on visa application forms. So, unlike us Brits, they’re going to find it a bit harder to forget her socking it to a girl in a club toilet.
