50 Cent and Ciara on stage

50 Cent and Ciara on stage

Ciara has been off the celebrity radar for some time now, but it seems she’s keen to let everyone know she’s back. First there was her raunchy video with Justin Timberlake and now we hear she’s spent the night with 50 Cent . 50 and Ciara recently retired to one of the penthouse suites at New York’s AKA Times Square Hotel and Residences on West 44th Street. A source told the New York Post newspaper: “There was only one bed in that penthouse.” This is not the first time the pair have been romantically linked. They met while working on Ciara’s track ‘Can’t Leave ‘Em Alone’ and rumours they were dating first emerged when they posed topless together for the music promo in 2007. Ciara said at the time: “Everybody turns everything into something else. They said we have a ranch in Atlanta. I just died laughing. It’s amazing to hear the things people make up. It’s funny.” Say what you like Ciara, but in our experience there is no smoke without fire.

It seems love is well and truly in the air at the moment. Word has it that Sophie Dahl and Jamie Cullum have gone and got engaged. The two –who have been dating for two years – revealed the news at a recent Gucci party in London.  Sophie was spotted flashing her huge diamond around all night. Congrats guys.

Sir Paul and Ringo

Sir Paul and Ringo

Beatles fans are in for a real treat, apparently Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are set to record a new album together. The two – who performed together at a charity concert in New York on Saturday (04.04.09) – plan to head into the studio later this year. A source said: “It has been a long time since Ringo played drums on any of Paul’s songs but they’ve decided they can work together again. They had a fantastic time in New York, and realise they still work well together. They’re now getting together later in the year to work on some of Paul’s new songs.” The two music legends had not performed together for over a decade before the concert in aid of the David Lynch Foundation.  Watch this space for more on the up and coming duet.
