Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer

Jennifer Aniston shares her relationship wisdom with us, according to the Marley & Me star “laziness” makes relationship fail. After having a string of failed relationships with actor Vince Vaughn, model Paul Sculfor and singer John Mayer –  she insists romances only work if both people strive to make each other happy.
.
She said: “Why does the romance leave relationships? I think it’s laziness. I really do. I think a good relationship is about collaboration. That’s the way to go in a relationship.” Jen also believes communication is the secret to a strong union, and believes most problems can be overcome if couples are vocal about what makes them unhappy.

She explained to Australia’s Harper’s Bazaar magazine: “I think you just need to talk to each other. Say what you need. Say what you want. That way it’s not threatening. You just need to say, ‘This is important to me.’ Don’t expect your mate to read your mind.” Let’s hope Jen takes heed of her own advice.

Chace Crawford

Chace Crawford

I guess this is good news for us! We heard Chace Crawford saying he would never date a co-star. The actor – whose fellow ‘Gossip Girl’ stars Blake Lively and Penn Badgley are in a relationship – wants to keep his personal and professional life separate.

He said: “‘Gossip Girl’ creator Josh Schwartz told me to avoid at all costs dating a co-star. We get to shoot in New York and have that as our playground and do the insane things that we get to be a part of.  There’s a part of me that wants to share that. But I’m having fun living the bachelor life right now. It’s a good time to be single.”

Chace also dismissed rumours he moved out of the apartment he shared with co-star Ed Westwick because the pair are no longer friends. He explained: “Frat time’s over. I’m just turned 24, I need my own space. I don’t know why anyone wants to read about the condition of our apartment. It cracks me up. It was actually pretty immaculate.  “I’m OCD [Obsessive Compulsive Disorder]. I had a maid come twice a month.  We have a few roof deck parties from time to time, but that’s all.” Clean, handsome and single now that’s a combination if ever we heard one.
