Amy Winehouse was allegedly given drugs by her husband when he visited her last week. Friends of the troubled singer are said to be furious with Blake Fielder-Civil – who dashed to Amy’s bedside last week before returning to prison after failing a court-ordered drugs test – after he gave her the illegal substances in The London Clinic. Amy had been clean for 10 days after being admitted to the medical facility following a reported drink-and-drugs binge. Island Records has spent an estimated £150,000 on three facilities to make it easier for the 26-year-old star to work on the follow-up to award-winning LP ‘Back to Black’.
A source said: “Amy’s record is one of the most eagerly anticipated in pop music so the record label isn’t taking any chances. “Sadly Amy doesn’t have a great track record in terms of reliability. But by booking three different venues at least the record label is assured – on the law of averages – she’ll turn up in one of them. It’s a pretty unprecedented move – rehearsal spaces do not come cheap. “She’s writing mainly on her own but goes to the studios if she wants a band to help her.”
Still sounds like a dig at Brad to me but Jennifer Aniston says boyfriend John Mayer is “a rare one”. The former ‘Friends’ actress – who is divorced from Brad Pitt –is very happy in her new relationship and loves watching ‘Gravity’ singer John think and perform. She said: “John is a rare one. He is extraordinary and it’s wonderful to watch him – the way his brain works and the way he thinks his thoughts. It’s beautiful. It’s an amazing thing to watch musicians think. I don’t know many musicians but when his guitar is on him it’s just like a channel. It’s like something I have never, ever seen before.” Eh, right Jen.
Jennifer also revealed she doesn’t like talking about her relationship with Brad, and thinks people should move on. She added to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “Everybody goes through tough times, you have just got to figure out how to get through them. It’s my history and my memory. I used to really take things personally. It took me some time to figure this out but if you can be truthful and honest with who you are, then you have a much easier time walking through life.”
