The nominations are in for the Screen Actors Guild awards, time to prepare your over the top tearful acceptance speech and fight to the death for the must have designer dress of the season. So who’s top of the list this year?

The much talked about duo Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been nominated. Brad has been recognised in the Best Actor category for his role in ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’, while Angelina received a Best Actress nomination for her part in ‘Changeling’. Meryl Streep, Kate Winslet, Anne Hathaway and Melissa Leo will also compete for the prestigious accolade. is up for the supporting actor award for his portrayal of The Joker in summer Batman blockbuster ‘The Dark Knight’, alongside stars including Robert Downey Jr. for ‘Tropic Thunder’ and Josh Brolin for ‘Milk’. The awards will take place on January 25 at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Centre.
