Take That

Take That

Take That feel guilty about Robbie Williams’ breakdown. The four bandmates – Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald – regret ignoring the warning signs as Robbie spiralled into drink and drugs. Gary, 38, has confessed that when Robbie went off the rails in 1995, there was “a series of events we should have spotted”. He said: “That’s my one regret. I missed the signs. I think we all did.” Howard – who admits to dabbling in drugs when he was in the band – confronted 34-year-old Robbie about his problems. He told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “I spoke to Robbie about it last summer. I said I was sorry I never took the time to notice he was drinking a bottle of vodka a day.”

Sex and the City

Sex and the City

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis have agreed to star in the ‘Sex and the City: The Movie’ sequel. Following months of speculation the quartet were set to reprise the roles they brought to the big screen last year – four years after the hit US TV series ended – a source has now claimed the lead actresses will appear in another movie. The film insider said: “Not all the contracts are signed, but everyone is on board. It just happened.” All the actresses will get increased salaries for appearing in the second movie. Kim originally refused to sign up for the first film over pay disputes. Come on ladies, we would love to see another movie so stop fussing and start filming.

Eva Mendes

Eva Mendes

Eva Mendes has been named the Most Desirable Woman of 2009. The ‘Spirit’ actress topped a poll of men who were asked to name their ideal woman, taking into account sense of humour, intelligence and character as well as sex appeal. Eva – who came fourth on last year’s list compiled by website AskMen.com – was delighted to take the top spot, saying: “Of all the qualities I find attractive in a man, paying me such a compliment tops my list. Thanks, guys!” Eva beat ‘Transformers’ actress Megan Fox into second place, with Victoria’s Secret model Marisa Miller and British glamour model Keeley Hazell coming in third and fourth places respectively. Marissa enthused: “It’s awesome to be on the AskMen.com list again! I’ve had such an amazing year and to know that I have fans that care enough to vote and support me is really flattering.” Newcomers on the rundown this year include actress Isla Fisher at number 31, ‘I Kissed A Girl’ singer Katy Perry at number 38, and French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s wife Carla Brunei at number 76. Actress Scarlett Johansson, who came seventh, added: “It’s an honour to be chosen by over 10 million AskMen readers as one of world’s most desirable women.”
