Watch out Noel, it looks like Liam Gallagher is going to start a new band. Liam fully intends to continue ‘living the dream’ even if it’s without his brother. He said: “I’m always going to miss Oasis. It was my f***ing thing, you know what I mean? It’s who I am. But it’s only a name. I’m still who I am and I can go and do something else. I’ve got music in me. I’ll never leave it behind but we’ll see where it goes. It might be s**t but you don’t know until you try. Getting away from the whole Oasis thing is going to be a good thing I suppose. I don’t want to do anything solo. I want to be in a band. But we can do things a lot differently these days. It’ll definitely be rock ‘n’ roll.” Let’s face it everything he does will be compared to Oasis, so there are some pretty big shoes to fill.

Muse were named Best Act In The World Today at the Q Awards last night, Drummer Dom Howard said: “It feels great. It’s always amazing to be nominated so we’re very privileged.” Kasabian were also honoured at the bash, held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, picking up Best Album for their LP ‘West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum’ while Lily Allen won Best Track for ‘The Fear’. She said: “It’s really nice, I’ve never won anything before. It didn’t matter why I got it, it’s just nice to have someone say to you, ‘Well done, you’re quite good at music.’ ” We heard it was Amy Winehouse who caused quite a stir and stole the show by refusing to take to the stage and wondering around aimlessly…we see nothing has changed there.
