Kate Moss for Topshop

Kate Moss has ended her design collaboration with Topshop.

The British model will complete her work with the brand when her autumn/winter collection comes out in October, although both parties deny there is any bad feeling.

Topshop boss Sir Philip Green told The Times newspaper: “It has been fantastic for us and fantastic for her but the designs take more and more time and she cannot do this full-time anymore.”

Her upcoming collection with be her 14th for the brand, and it is believed she has earned £3 million from the ranges.

Author and fashion lecturer David Shaw told the BBC: “Everyone was quite surprised it lasted so long. Topshop is notorious for quick change. It brings in brands and loses brands.”

In addition to designing for Topshop since 2007, she was also on hand to open up the store’s first New York outlet in 2009.

As well as her modelling and designing, Kate is also the face of her own perfume range, and is currently on the cover of British Vogue.
