It’s safe to say Sienna Miller has a knack for multitasking. She models, acts, and designs, and it’s tough to determine which she does best. Miller is an American-born Londoner, though she’s said, “I don’t feel like I’m American in any way.” She attended boarding school in Ascot, Berkshire and later studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York City, her birthplace, with muses like Will Lee and Marc Griffin. Before acting professionally, she signed modeling contracts with Coca-Cola, Italian Vogue, and the infamous Pirelli Calendar, it’s no surprise then, that this blonde bombshell is linked with other supermodels like Kate Moss. What is shocking is her versatility in such a specialized industry.

Sienna performed in amateur New York City plays such as “The Striker” and “Independence,” and in 2001 appeared in the film “South Kensington” with Rupert Everett. She recalls, “I’ve wanted to be an actress for as long as I can remember, and I was almost born in the theatre. My mum went into labour while she was watching the Nut-Cracker in New York…apparently I was kicking like mad.” Sienna’s witty sense of humour carries over in the 2004 film “Alfie,” with co-star and on/off  boyfriend Jude Law. Sienna’s “breakthrough role” came in 2005 in a 1960’s rendition of Edie Segwick, “Factory Girl,” just after her lead opposite Heath Ledger in “Casanova.”

Just one year later, Sienna announced her fashion design intentions with Pepe Jeans. Designed by her and sister Savannah, Twenty8Twelve showcases a blend of glittering bohemian chic with thrift store finds, Sienna’s trademarks. She received an Environmental Media Future Award for her work with Global Cool. She’s currently filming “Hippie Hippie Shake,” a 1960’s remake, and will hit the Broadway stage in September 2009 as one of three characters in “After Miss Julie.”
