Ahh Madonna, never change! The pop icon is currently on a global tour to support her (average) album MDNA and took a few moments out of her show to dedicate the song ‘Masterpiece’ to Elton John.
She opened with ‘I’d like to dedicate this next song to a Mr. Elton John. I know he’s a big fan of it and I know he’s a big fan of mine. And you know what? I forgive him.’
You may remember that this is the song that won a Golden Globe over Elton John’s entry this year, which left him looking like this at the awards ceremony when her win was announced:
He then went on to call her a ‘fairground stripper’ whose ‘career [was] over’. Oh and he dropped the C word in there too. Classy!
