It’s after Thanksgiving, all the Christmas lights go up and the shopping centres, restaurants and cafes are awash with the sounds of carols.  As I write this, I am in Boston, and so it seems like the right time of year for seasonal festivities of the white and snowy sort.  Tomorrow, however, I will be back in South Florida where the mercury refuses to drop below the very high 70s.

The past couple of weeks have been very busy working on social media and viral marketing concepts for my client,, a leading discounted beauty product online retailer.  In the US, the Friday and Monday after Thanksgiving are known respectively as Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and are the two worst shopping days of the year.  So we were really gearing up for–and promoting–The Beauty Place’s sales.

It was also an exciting week as my feature on the new Louis Vuitton flagship appeared in the Niche Media publication, Aventura Mall.  It’s been a while since I’ve seen my name in print.  And, I have to say, the excitement of doing so never dies.

I am still on my health-drive and have been seeking the expert advice of my dear, dear friend, Eli Sapharti.  Four short years ago, Eli was 200 pounds heavier, a couch potatoe and two-packs-a-day smoker.  Fast forward to 2011 and he is 43, modeling and bit-part acting.  That is, when he isn’t inspiring and motivating others with his phenomenal story. Anyway, I decided to give my diet and exercise program a kick-start by undergoing a Bella Countour treatment.  The new aesthetic device allegedly provides an effective treatment for the temporary reduction of cellulite.  Real Housewife of Orange Country, Vicki Gunvalson, is apparently a fan of the treatment, too.  I opted to do my mid-section and lost up to 2cm in some areas afterwards.  However, it is a little disappointing that the results aren’t more permanent.

And so, in my quest to dish the pounds I recently gained, I am currently considering the HcG diet.  Not sure if the cult weight-loss system has made it to the UK yet but it apparently works.  Creative Bioscience have developed a hormone-free HCG supplement and, combined with the strict diet, is apparently the answer I have been looking for….. Stay tuned.

I am excited to get back to Miami which will be a-buzz with Art Basel excitement.  My pal and celebrity nanny – Emma Jenner – is taking the red-eye into town and I cannot wait to paint the Design District and SoBe red with all the parties and events happening.  The highlight will undoubtedly be the main Art Miami event, though I am really looking forward to the Interview magazine party at The Standard on Thursday night.

With that said, I had better get to bed and earn me so zzzzzzs….

Until next time….

Much love,

Hannah xo
