If you’re feeling oversaturated from all of the Sex and City 2 hype, never fear; there’s quite a bit more to choose from at the cinemas this week.

Anyone in the mood for action check out Noel Clarke and Emma Robert’s new crime thriller “4.3.2.1.” Robert’s plays an average supermarket worker who must struggle to evade a group a thieves after her group of friends accidently get caught up in diamond heist gone wrong. The film was written and directed by Noel Clarke, who infuses the film with his signature brand of hip street culture. The reviews on the film appear to be a bit lacklustre, but it’s sure to entertain teen crowds and fans of Clarke.

Also out this week is the Brothers Bloom, an adventure comedy starring Adrian Brody and Mark Ruffalo as two con-men brothers aiming to swindle a New Jersey heiress played by Rachel Weisz. Things gets complicated when their arch enemy Diamond Dog shows up to exact his revenge and makes it complicated for the brothers to keep their con from being ruined. With two Oscar winners in the cast, the Brothers Bloom is sure to have some great performances along with a hefty dose madcap humour and suspense. A good pick if you are in the mood for a comedy that keeps you guessing only to surprise you with a twist ending!
