Bride Wars

Bride Wars

This weekend we suggest you party by day in the sun and hit the couch with a DVD at night. M&S Dine for a tenner and choose from a girly romcom, a good old fashioned diamond heist and my personal recommendation drama with Frost/Nixon.

Bride Wars
The wedding gloves are off in this romantic comedy. Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson star as two friends whose weddings are accidently booked in on the same day. Friends soon become foes as the pair battle it out in an attempt to sabotage each other’s day.  This is really for chick flick fans only, no boys aloud. Click here to enter our competition and you could win a copy of the film along with a Bourjois goodie bag!

Frost/Nixon

Frost/Nixon

Frost/Nixon
The second movie pick of the week is Frost/Nixon. Having seen the play, we hoped the movie would be as good – it is! For those of you who don’t know Frost/Nixon stars Michael Sheen and Frank Langella, who are both reprising their stage roles in the untold story of the historic encounter that changed both men. An electrifying battle between Richard Nixon, the disgraced president with a legacy to save, and David Frost, a jet-setting television personality with a name to make. Gripping and thrilling, it’s a must see. Click here to buy it now.

Flawless

Flawless
This is a fantastic old fashioned heist movie which pays homage to the greats of days gone by. Set in the 1960’s Michael Caine stars as a retired old janitor who convinces Demi Moore, a frustrated executive within the firm, to help him steal a handful of diamonds from their employer, the London Diamond Corporation. While Demi plays look out, Michael gets to work, but will he be able to stop at just a handful? Click here to buy it now.
