Despicable Me

Despicable Me

Looking for a film to see this weekend?  We’ve got three you might want to check out.

Steve Carrell voices the lead character in this new film, Despicable Me.  Jason Segel, Julie Andrews and Russell Brand also lend their voices to some of the characters and the family film is set to be great for anyone wanted to indulge their inner-child.

The Social Network

The Social Network

The animated flick is about an evil villain who masterminds a plan to steal the moon.  It opened at number one at the Box Office in the US and apparently has some seriously cute ‘minions’ in it…

The much-anticipated film The Social Network is also out in cinemas this weekend.  The film is about Harvard student and Facebook creator, Mark Zuckerberg who is played by Jesse Eisenberg.  Our newest screen crush Andrew Garfield plays Mark’s college buddy and Justin Timberlake plays the creator of Napster, who takes the website idea to the innovator of Silicone Valley, CA.  The film shows the personal and legal problems Mark goes through as he gains success and becomes the youngest billionaire in the world. A must-see!

Vampires Suck

Vampires Suck is a Twilight spoof

The comedy Vampires Suck will also released this weekend.  The film is a spoof of Twilight—the characters are named Becca, Edward Sullen and Jacob White.  Although this movie didn’t get the best reviews, it refreshing to see someone that doesn’t take vampires so seriously!
