Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford

Carey Mulligan tied the knot this Saturday to fiancé and Mumford & Sons singer Marcus Mumford.

Mumford’s father married the couple in a converted barn in Somerset, England. The two were joined by 100 of the couple’s closest friends and family, including celebrity pals Sienna Miller, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Colin Firth, who gave a speech at the ceremony.

Mulligan, 26, wore a backless ivory dress with V-straps, rumoured to be Versace, while her bridesmaids donned turquoise knee-length dresses with matching blue high heels. The happy couple posed for famed fashion photographer Rankin. Adele was also on hand to provide a special performance for the newlyweds.

Mulligan and Mumford had been engaged for a year previous to their marriage. According to The Sun, the two first got acquainted through their churches as childhood pen pals.
