Oscars Red Carpet Roundup

Last night, Hollywood’s stars gathered on the red carpet for the 2012 Academy Awards, one of the biggest celebrity events of the season.

The overflowing glamour made it far too difficult to compile a best and worst dressed list, so we’re leaving the choice to you.

Angelina Jolie in Versace, Rooney Mara in Givenchy, Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen

White and cream ruled the runway, the colour splashing the gowns of starlets Shailene Woodley, Cameron Diaz, Octavia Spencer (who won Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Help), and Gwyneth Paltrow, among others. BATD’s red carpet favorites included Jessica Chastain’s gorgeous black and gold Alexander McQueen resort 2012 dress, Rooney Mara’s Givenchy haute couture, and Berenice Bejo’s sparkling Elie Saab gown. Other highlights included Kristin Wiig in J. Mendel, Rose Byrne in Vivienne Westwood, and Milla Jovovich in Elie Saab.
