‘CBGB – The Home of Underground Rock’ exhibition

When the sun is shining and our spirits are high, the last thing we want to do after a long days work is sit cooped up in our stuffy apartments. We suggest you rock up at Proud Camden for a night of music and mayhem. DJ Zane Lowe brings you his best CBGB beats to celebrate the ‘CBGB – The Home of Underground Rock’ exhibition.

Blondie, the Ramones and the Misfits are just a few of the legendary bands that graced the CBGB stage back in the day. This exhibition takes you back to the front row, showing never before seen pictures taken by Lisa J Kristal – yes we’re talking blood, sweat and tears .

Taking place on 24th June (Wednesday), doors open at 7:30 at Proud Camden, where you can rock your socks off until 1am. Brought to you with a little help from Budweiser, if you are one of the first 150 people to email you could get in for free. If not, tickets on the door will go for a tenner a piece. If Martini’s rather than mayhem is more your thing, the exhibition will run until August 9th, so there’s still time to pay homage to the glory days.
