In 2008, he got his first big acting role as the main character in ‘Center Stage: Turn It Up’. He also appeared as a dancer in the feature films ‘Clerks II’, ‘You Got Served’, and ‘Jackass 2’. After the success of the film, he danced at the VMA’s tribute to Michael Jackson in 2009.

When Zac Efron and Chace Crawford both backed out of playing the lead role of Ren McCormack in 2011’s remake of ‘Footloose’, Wormald was chosen as a replacement alongside Julianna Hough. He’s already impressed critics with his dancing talents and dedication to the role, even impressing the directors so much with his Boston accent that they decided to switch Ren’s hometown from Chicago to Boston to cast Kenny for the part.

‘Footloose’, also starring Dennis Quaid, is set to release in the UK on 14th October.
