Ryan Reynolds

Most well known perhaps for his leading role in “The Proposal”, or his supporting role in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” as Wade Wilson, Ryan Reynolds is a bonefide hotty whose good looks and sense of humour captures the attention of women of all ages (all proved when he was named Sexiest Man Alive by ‘People’ Magazine in 2010!)

Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Reynolds’ first lead role as an adult was in the National Lampoon film “Van Wilder.” In 2008, he played the protagonist of “Definitely, Maybe” and 2009 had him appearing in 4 films, “Adventureland”, “X-Men Origins”, “The Proposal”, and “Paper Man.”

His most recent role that was released last year, “Buried”, a drama in which Reynolds wakes up to find himself kidnapped and in a coffin, with only a lighter and a cell phone. A haunting vision for most, and the audiences never gets relief. The entire film is shot in this coffin – no shots of the surface, the kidnappers, or how he got there; it invites imagination, suspense and a yearning. Aspects that will hopefully be seen in his up coming pictures “Green Lantern” and “Safe House.”

“Green Lantern”, set to release in June and yet another American superhero motion picture, is based on the original Marvel comic in which a test pilot is granted a green ring that grants him otherworldly powers and simultaneously gives him the added responsibility of keeping peace in the universe… Plus it co-stars Blake Lively as a brunette if the storyline isn’t your thing.

On a personal note ladies… he and wife of two years, Scarlett Johansson, called it quits in December 2010 but just one month later the pair was spotted having lunch together. Are they friendly exes or could they be getting back together? We’ll keep you posted.
