Soon to be released in cinemas is Pom Wonderful Presents: The Greatest Movie Ever Sold, directed and co-written by Morgan Spurlock (aka the guy from Super Size Me).
It looks like it’s set to be a hilarious documentary that follows Spurlock around as he convinces companies to sponsor his movie via product placement. Spurlock does his best to make the industry transparent to show everyone else how these brands keep pulling you in.
A typical quote?
Morgan: “Where should I be able to go where I won’t see one bit of advertising?”
Ad Big Wig: “To sleep…”
You will never see a commercial/ film/ music video in the same way again after this…
Leave it to Spurlock to make something both hilarious and informative. Can’t wait to see it and what goes on behind those companies!
