Try Prunes as an alternative to a colonic

Try Prunes as an alternative to a colonic

By Philip Hunt

A colonic can be a good detox for any busy socialite, too many canapés naughty cocktails and not enough veg can take its toll. With prices ranging from £40 up to £75 for one session it can have amazing effects and really flush out all your bad habits. However The Hunt has found a cheaper way of flushing out all those toxins and clearing those pipes, the good old fashioned method, eating plenty of prunes!

Man I am crazy for them! Two handfuls a day and the doctor will definitely stay away, your friends might avoid you too! I have been testing the theory for the last two weeks (given to me by good old Granny Hunt) and the results are excellent, you don’t need the details but safe to say, prunes save the day.

It’s all part of my “6 pack for summer” plan. One more week and I will be packing my Aussiebums and lounging on the beaches in Ibiza, particularly Ses Salinas where I am staying at the Salinas Boutique Hostel. The island of the beautiful will certainly be vibrant in the mid August sun and I will have to join in the beach parties, dancing my pants off in the Med’s shallow waters.

So I have set myself goals: 100 sit ups per day, 1 hour of cardio a day  lots of Yoga and buckets of water!

Slowly but surely those ripples are coming out of hiding, two inches from the waist have disappeared and an outlandish hunger for chips and beer have hit 10 on the Richter scale.

The fight for flatter abs goes on!

See you on the beach….

Adios
