BAFTAOn Sunday 13 Feb, people will be glued to their TV’s because it’s a night full of Awards, glamour, and stars! The Orange BAFTAs are here again for the biggest night of film and television in the UK.

It’s looking like the critically acclaimed film starring Colin Firth, The Kings Speech, is leading the way at the BAFTAs with 14 nominations. Firth himself is up for Best Actor, which he recently just won at the Golden Globes a couple weekends ago!

Black Swan is also in the running with 12 nominations, as well as having Natalie Portman up for Best Actress, which she also won at the Golden Globes.

It should definitely be an exciting night, especially for Harry Potter fans as all of the Harry Potter films will be receiving a special BAFTA award, which will be for making an outstanding British contribution to cinema. So be prepared to see the stars in all their glory!

Harry Potter Cast

The other award most talked about is The Rising Star Award. It will either be going to Gemma Arterton, Andrew Garfield (The new spidey), Tom Hardy (Inception), Aaron Johnson, or Emma Stone (Easy A). So many good actors and actresses, which makes it so very hard to choose who should win… which is why we have a poll going on the BATD homepage, so check it out and cast your vote!

Rachel Stevens will be live at the BAFTAs hosting the red carpet. She will be getting all the inside scoop from Hollywood’s favourite stars. Click here for a list of all the nominees.

Looks like we will be gearing up for quite a night of starring at the television! The 53rd Annual Grammy’s are the same night as the BAFTAs so we will be watching both for all the surprises! Make sure you tune into E! at 5 p.m. for the red carpet!
