The royal baby, well he was certainly worth waiting for wasn’t he?
Having been glued to live feeds of the entrance to the Lindo Wing for hours, finally, after a hairdresser and royal aide, Prince Charles and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall, and new grandparents Michael and Carole Middleton, all entered the maternity ward, the couple and newborn that the entire world have been waiting for, left the hospital.
Kate, simply glowed. Wearing a blue and white polka dot Jenny Packham dress (perhaps in homage to Princess Diana), Kate cradled the future king who was enswathed in a cream fine-knit blanket. Whilst Prince William, looking suave and relaxed in a matching blue and white shirt, beamed at his newborn son and wife, before taking over the cuddling.
Joking to the crowds that his new son, thankfully, had more hair than he himself has, the couple were in fine spirits.
Beginning their family life as they mean to go on, there were no chauffeurs or nannies to hand, instead William fit the carseat into his Range Rover before driving his new family home.
