The Girl Who Played with Fire

The second in his trilogy is The Girl Who Played with Fire which is released in cinemas on August 27th – so you’ve got plenty of time to read the book before!  An engrossing thriller, it’s bound to have you gripped from start to finish.

The Year of the Flood

Margaret Atwood

The story of Toby, who watches the world from her rooftop garden, and Ren, a young dancer trapped in an upmarket sex club, this is a tale of isolation.  Readers of Atwood’s Oryx and Crake may already be familiar with this theme as the events that unfold in The Year of the Flood are similar to those of the earlier novel.  It’s quite long, but definitely worth a read.

The Beach Hut
