Spring

Looking for somethings to do with the weekend that are fun and will keep you outside in this wonderful weather? Here are a few ideas for the coming weekend.

March 10-13 the Affordable Art Fair will be in Battersea Park. Priced between £100 and £4,000, the covers paintings, sculptures, photographs and prints are all affordable. Hence, I suppose the name of the fair.

Kids are sure to be entertained by the free workshops and activities designed around creative re-use and recycling.

Catherine Tate is also opening a charity private view to benefit Battersea Cats and Dogs Home; the viewing is from 5:30-9:30 PM and tickets are available for purchase at www.battersea.org.uk.

Feel like being a kid again? Scream your face red on a rollercoaster at Thorpe Park or maybe practise your twirls at Ally Pally’s ice skating arena. Maybe bowl a few frames at All Star Lanes with a round of cocktails for a grown-up night out.

Friday Night Skate

With the lovely weather of spring peeking out behind the clouds, Kew Gardens is always a great time. Starting in April Kew Palace is doing a new Tour that usually isn’t open to the public with wine and nibbles to follow!

Pull on your roller skates and join over 5,000 skaters whizzing around the streets of London! The skate departs from Wellington Arch every Friday at 8 PM. Visit the Friday Night Skate website for full details.
