The 2011 National Board of Review Awards took place at Cipriani 42nd Street in NYC yesterday (10.1.12) and we loved what some of the celebs were wearing!
As per usual BATD favourite, Emma Stone, looked fabulous in a pretty J. Mendel dress with Christian Louboutin heels and flawless makeup. We loved her coat even more though and she looked very sophisticated in the cream Michael Kors number.
Keeping it simple with the black carpet theme, Rooney Mara, Keira Knightley, Helen Mirren and Felicity Jones all opted for black and looked great! Mara opted for a Miu Miu dress with YSL heels whereas Jones went for Dolce&Gabbana (obviously as she’s the new face of the brand). Our favourite black numbers however came from Keira Knightley in a Nina Ricci Resort dress and Roger Vivier heels and Helen Mirren’s gorgeous cut-out, floor length floral number.
Well done ladies!

Dana, hiding a weoapn is such a stylish idea. I’ll have to wait, though. I promised the Mexican family I smuggled across the border that they can stay in it until the end of the month. They paid their rent. It’s only fair.Laura, honey, if Voguing is wrong, I don’t ever want to be right! Just don’t attempt it near loved ones or china. Studies have shown it burns many more calories than voguing alone. I’ve found a lovely quote from Rush Limbaugh that sums up my love for this forest-killing fashion magazine. The most beautiful thing about a tree is what you do with it after you cut it down.
