Undoubtedly the hottest (and coolest) ticket in town this London Fashion Week was for Christopher Bailey’s Burberry show.

Shunning the Somerset House showspace for a lavish marquee in Hyde Park, the Burberry Prorsum show boasts a FROW like no other,  drawing an eclectic mix of industry insiders, models, muses and starts from all manner of genres, from sport to music.

Andy Murray, Kim Sears, Victoria Pendleton

Tennis ace Andy Murray dressed down in a smart-casual combination of jeans, shoes, shirt and jumper, whilst his gorgeous girlfriend Kim Sears rocked a little white dress, nude pumps and tan accessories all of which were outshone by her mane of thick, glossy ‘because I’m worth it’ hair. Olympic cycling star Victoria Pendleton wore a mauve pencil skirt and matching puff sleeved peplum top, all cinched in with a double waisted nude belt, strappy heels and bowling bag.

Alison Mosshart and Harry Styles

Representing for the music world, albeit coming from somewhat different angles, was The Kills front woman Alison Mosshart, who rocked out in black skinny jeans, patent boots and a leather trend coat and sported a head of rock n roll sunset-shade dip-dyed hair. Meanwhile, heartthrob Harry Styles, who is rumoured to be dating model Cara Delevingne who was walking in the show, looked super suave in black skinnies, a white shirt and tweed blazer.

Anna Wintour, Mario Testino and Laura Bailey

U.S Vogue editor Anna Wintour, dressed in a snakeskin print pencil skirt and cardigan, with signature bob and sunnies, cosied up to fashion photographer Mario Testino. Meanwhile brit beauty Laura Bailey sported a striped Burberry puff-ball skirt, tucked in crisp shirt and even managed to pull of a socks and heels combo.

The theme of the show was ‘Corsets and Capes’, to which Bailey wanted to communicate “a very British glamour” that seemed to centre around the 1940s. Peplums were a continued theme from AW12, as were pencil skirts, with the addition of capes and corsets!
