Cheryl Cole (who’s currently visiting British troops in Afganistan) has apaprently designed her first shoe collection with fashion website StylistPick.com to create the limited edition footwear line which is set to hit stores in December.
Stylist Pick’s chief creative officer, Juliet Warkentin said. “We are thrilled to be working with Cheryl. Cheryl is the style icon and is amazingly warm, a quality that has made her the nation’s favourite. We believe that the launch will have a huge fashion impact; establishing fashion’s greatest influencer as a major force in fashion design and further democratising fashion.”
Report’s are that Cheryl’s collection will be “glamorous” with accessible price points and the 28-year-old singer has overseen “every step of the process, from concept to design and packaging”.
The new line is part of a wider collaboration between the Girls Aloud star and the fashion website as she is set to choose her favourite pieces from their online collection and will also share style tips with site users.
Cheryl is not the only celebrity shoe designer, Carmen Electra and Kristin Cavallari (amongst others) teamed up with footwear firm Shoe Dazzle earlier this year to create a pair of shoes for charity.
Former ‘Hills’ Kristin designed a pair of star floral-print wedges while Carmen’s pumps with ankle strap and glittering detail went on sale during the summer.
