Let’s face it, we all want to do our bit for the environment and while there’s no doubt bags made of hemp/organic cotton/recycled cow dung may well be better for our planet, the majority of offerings hardly rival Fendi when it comes to appearances.
All that could be about to change however, as world renowned stylist Patricia Field has joined forces with Diet Coke to create a limited edition bag made entirely from recycled plastic bottles – and best of all, it’s free!
Featuring fashion-inspired slogans picked out in hot pink and white and set against a black background, the lightweight bag comes even with its own stylish leopard-print storage pouch, and, from the 22nd October, comes free with the purchase of two 500ml bottles of Diet Coke from Boots.
So, ditch those wheatgrass smoothies and treat yourself to an environmentally friendly Diet Coke break – let’s call it calorie offsetting….
