If you’re looking to make a statement this spring then YSL’s caged ankle boots are probably the way to go, definitely not one for the fashion faint hearted. At £905 they’re also an investment piece. But before you get ready to flash the cash, we’ve stumbled upon the perfect catwalk copycat.

Never ones to miss a fashion beat, Topshop have created a similar version, not as extreme as the original YSL heels and without the hefty price tag to boot (sorry no pun intended!) The Topshop version is pretty a good replica with the caged detail and zip at the back. We also quite like the peep toe detail and at £70.00 they’re perfectly priced.
