Last night in New York City, some of the most powerful women came out to celebrate the accomplishments of women over the years. And of course, the stars came out dressed to impress as Glamour Women of the Year Awards have become one of the most prestigious events of the seasons.

Unfortunately, the fashion report for this event fell quite flat as most of the ladies came in ordinary dresses and expected silhouettes. The always daring and sexy Jennifer Lopez wore an ivory sequin dress with a very high split that showed off her amazing figure. Lea Michele opted for a low cut cream dress that’s likely the favourite outfit of the night. And although we love Emma Stone, the grecian dress style doesn’t compliment her figure, and the colour doesn’t work against her pale skin.

But the worst of it definitely comes from actress Kerry Washington and the wife of basketball star Carmelo Anthony, Lala who donned prom-like dresses for the red carpet event. And though Chelsea Handler looks amazing in navy blue, a jumpsuit on a red carpet is never a good idea.
