At last night’s 2013 Golden Globe Awards, Hollywood stars showcased not only true silver-screen talent, but also the best in current designer fashion as they sported barely-there blush tones, updated little (or not so little) black dresses with daring accents and flashed acres of perfectly pilates-toned flesh in eye-popping brights and muted pastels.

Amanda Seyfriend, Jennifer Lopez, Amy Adams

Panneling, lace, embroidery and lengths of tulle we used in the making of dresses for Amanda Seyfried who wore a lacy Givenchy number, Jennifer Lopez who wore a skin-mimicking embroidered Zuhair Murad dress and Amy Adams in a pretty tulle Marchesa gown.

Helen Hunt, Lea Michele, Megan Fox

Helen Hunt looked effortlessly chic in a horizontal lace striped Dolce & Gabbana column dress. Glee star Lea Michele meanwhile, flaunted her tanned and toned body in thigh-high Elie Saab and Megan Fox smouldered as only the actress can in strapless Dolce & Gabbana.

Kerry Washington, Anne Hathaway, Isla Fisher

Kerry Washington looked stunning in this sheer embellished Miu Miu number with satin sash neckline and waist, Anne Hathaway wore a simple, chic ivory Chanel strapless column dress and actress Isla Fisher shimmered in a heavily embellished floor length Reem Acra gown.

Sienna Miller, Jessica Chastain, Thandie Newton

Only Brit babe Sienna Miller, nominated for her portrayal of Tippi Hedren, could rock custom made. flower appliqued Erdem. Meanwhile, Best Actress winner, Jessica Chastain looked incredible in a draped seafoam Calvin Klein dress and Thandie Newton showcased her quirky style to perfection in this Giles Deacon pale lavender embellished number with matching pastel sandals.

Rosie Huntington Whiteley, Katharine McPhee, Kristen Wiig

They may have chosen classic black, but for Rosie Huntington Whiteley in Saint Laurent, Katharine McPhee in Theyskens Theory and Kristen Wiig in Michael Kors, there was a little daring and body-baring thanks to thigh high slits, key hole cut outs and plunging necklines. Showing that the little black dress is always a winner.

Eva Longoria, Sofia Vergara, Salma Hayek

Eva Longoria flaunted her figure in Emilio Pucci with a low cut out, waist-high slit and lace body. Sofia Vergara kept it simple in a sequinned black floor length number and minimal accessories whilst the bombshell that is Salma Hayek was a lesson in hourglass dressing in this strapless sweeping Gucci gown that emphasised her waist with an oversized bow. Beautiful.

Adele, Tina Fey, Rachel Weisz

Winner of Best Original Song, Adele flew the flag for British fashion in an empire-line Burberry dress with embellished neckline. The host for the evening, comedian Tina Fey started the night off in this beautiful L’Wrenn Scott black and white lace creation, whilst Rachel Weisz managed to pull off a sheer, spotted Louis Vuitton dress.

Taylor Swift, Lena Dunham, Naomi Watts

Zac Posen dressed both Girls’ star Lena Dunham and actress Naomi Watts in varying takes on what is undoubtedly the shade of the season, Oxblood. Whilst Taylor Swift got in on the act in Donna Karan Atelier.

Marion Cotillard, Claire Danes, Zooey Deschanel

Despite the cold Los Angeles weather, Marion Cotillard in Dior,  Claire Danes in Versace and Zooey Deschanel in Oscar de la Renta brightened up the evening’s proceedings in eye-popping shades, to varying effect (and success).
